‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Nominations, and another Johnny Mac plan?

At the moment, we really feel for Johnny Mac on “Big Brother 17.” This is a guy who is more than a pawn at this point; he’s a super-pawn, more than capable of throwing almost any competition depending on when he is asked to do so.

This time around, John has been told that this is what he should do while on the block with James, as Vanessa has nominated both of them for eviction. Meanwhile, Austin has put on the block the combination of Jason and Meg. The hope here is that Vanessa will remain in power, and this will give her an opportunity to backdoor Jeff. This is a great plan for her (she gets rid of a huge target), but at the same time excellent for Austin. He gets less blood on his hands, especially since he and Jeff were at one point close (though he also secretly wants to see him gone from the game).

As for where all alliances stand at the moment, there are several going on: Vanessa, Austin, Clay, Shelli, and the twins have one called “The Sixth Sense,” where that there is another in “Freaks and Geeks” that is basically the four mentioned minus the twins, and with Steve in their place. These people have a firm grip on the game for the time being, but we’ll have to hold on to know if that is going to stick or not.

We do think that the odds are high Jeff goes home this week, but we don’t think that this plan is close to ironclad just yet. For example, we could see James beasting through the competition, and then we could feasibly end up with Jason and Meg being the final nominees. If this happens, we imagine that Jason probably goes home over her unless one of them makes a big move.
