‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 6 preview: The story for Maia Mitchell, cast in ‘It’s My Party’

On Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters,” we certainly saw the character of Callie in quite a pickle. She traveled to Mexico to have a fun adventure with Brandon, but ended up in one of the most problematic situations of her entire life so far. First, she tried to hang-glide to get a rush of adrenaline, and then the police ended up getting involved. Brandon sold his keyboard, and then there was the whole dilemma involving passports.

Is is possible that next week’s “It’s My Party” is going to bring about a happier time for Maia Mitchell’s character? Well, there are no guarantees of that right now. All we have to share at the moment is the synopsis below:

“Callie thinks she’s celebrating her 17th birthday with just the family, but Jude surprises her with a house party. Jude’s surprise risks exposing both Callie’s and Mariana’s secrets when he innocently invites Rafael and Wyatt to attend. Meanwhile, Brandon’s suspicions about AJ’s behavior come to a head, and Mariana and Callie decide to buy a car together without telling their moms.”

Of course, what we wonder when it comes to the Callie story at the moment is simply this: Given everything that she went through with Brandon tonight, why in the world would she decide that keeping more secrets is a good idea at all? We would come clean, and then just wait for either the advice or punishment that comes after that.
