‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 10 spoilers: More on ‘Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels Goes to Washington’

We should start off this particular “Girl Meets World” story with yet another reminder that unfortunately, there is not a new episode airing on the Disney Channel tonight. This is a show that sometimes has random hiatuses, and we are at present staring in the face of one of them.

Luckily, next week will mark the official premiere date for the next new episode entitled “Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels Goes to Washington,” and all indications already seem to suggest that this one is going to be a great time. We’re going to have a chance to see a big Eric Matthews story, and doesn’t the photo attached to this article look rather patriotic? Given that tomorrow is the Fourth of July, it certainly seems like an appropriate image to use.

We have another description for this episode now courtesy of the Disney Channel, and that should give you a little bit of a better sense as to why Riley and Maya are going to be getting involved in Eric’s new political campaign:

“Uncle Eric is recruited to run for the Senate, but learns it was only because they expected him to lose. Riley and her friends rally together to help his campaign.”

We don’t know whether or not Michael Jacobs or anyone else on the show really would have been able to predict so well how much conversation politics would be getting at the moment; even if they couldn’t call it, though, some of the headlines surrounding the Presidential race, more than a year before the actual election, probably are going to continue to help them.
