‘Devious Maids’ season 3, episode 6 preview: ‘She Done Him Wrong’

If we were to create an award at the moment for craziest “Devious Maids” promo that we have seen over the entire season so far, we would say almost instantly that the one below for “We Done Him Wrong,” the episode airing on Monday night, is the clear winner. What other one has some surprising sex-related content, Zoila going down a flight of stairs, and a variety of other fights within the span of thirty seconds. This one is being described already as the most dramatic of promos that we have seen to date, and unless the show is lying to us and playing some sort of extremely cruel trick, we are inclined for now to believe them.

The TV Guide synopsis below does a good job of at least giving you some context to go along with this sneak peek, but we do have to be honest here in saying that we still do not see the two as necessarily connecting completely, at least not yet:

“Carmen unwillingly helps Adrian with his hobby; Marisol worries about her relationship with Jesse; Zoila struggles with her feelings about having a baby and deals with the arrival of her younger sister; Rosie makes a drastic decision; Evelyn develops a new desire for the next chapter of her life.”

By the time we make it to the end of this episode, let’s hope for at least a little bit of clarity. For the time being, though, it feels fairly safe to assume that we are at least going to get a great degree of fun. Anytime the show can deliver on that, most will be happy.
