‘Big Brother 17’ live spoilers: More twin twist confirmation, tears, and paranoia

Liz -After being for the most part complete chaos on Friday, life in the “Big Brother 17” house has cooled off ever so slightly Saturday … though this is not to say that it has been completely quiet. There have been a few interesting things to go down, including Shelli being the latest one to have a massive meltdown. She’s feeling overwhelmed by the house, and feels really sad about the fact that Jace seems to be going.

What’s interesting about this week is there seems to be a number of people who seem to at least be okay with Jace (he’s not as completely hated as we perhaps first thought when the feeds came on), but nobody wants to really speak up about it beyond a two-person conversation. Maybe there is just a whole lot of fear about someone getting nominated themselves, and they do not want to run the risk. Shelli should be fine; she is close with Clay, and she is right there with Meg and Becky right now in the “women probably not going anywhere until at least jury” group.

In addition to all of this, Da’Vonne continues to subtly try to create some distrust about Audrey in the minds of fellow alliance members. She affirmed her trust with James today, but she is not really doing that much to defend someone who it seemed early in the game could be a tight ally. It feels ultimately like both of these women want to control the entire house, and there could be a power struggle that lasts here until one of them goes home.

As for a pair of other interesting tidbits:

1. Based on conversations between Da’Vonne and Vanessa, it’s pretty close to 100% that they don’t know each other at all from their jobs. Still, Austin seems to know at least something about what Da’Vonne actually does, but it’s not entirely clear because of pre-feed action.

2. Liz’s cousin did an AMA on the Big Brother Reddit, and in it effectively confirmed that her twin Julia is also in the house with her right now. There is already a ton of evidence of this, from some physical differences to the fact that Liz / Julia have a hard time following what’s going on around them.
