Andy Richter breaks Conan O’Brien’s couch by doing next to nothing (video)

The video below -Sometimes, the best moments on late-night talk shows happen to be the ones that come out of completely nowhere, and this is precisely what is taking place on Tuesday night’s new episode of “Conan.” We’ve got a preview video below from tonight’s new episode, and it shows a massive breakdown in the show’s furniture department.

The situation is pretty easy to break down: In the middle of a lighthearted discussion with Lauren Graham about “Jeopardy!” buzzer strategy, the couch Andy Richter is sitting on breaks. Specifically, it happens as he throws himself back in about as non-aggressive fashion as possible. The end results of this are worth a few laughs.

Really, this is one of things that is for the most part hard to describe, mostly because in doing so you really take away some of the comedy of it. All we will say for now is that Graham and Richter should simply go and do more of the aforementioned game show, mostly because of the fact that they are both really good at it. Throw Conan in there while you are at it, as well.

As for Graham, we’re excited to see everything that she does next following a long run as Sarah on “Parenthood.” In between this and of course her role on “Gilmore Girls,” she has done a tremendous job over the years of finding a way to get onto great projects and then elevate them to another level. Once we have even more next in regards to her future, we’ll have them for you.
