‘Wayward Pines’ episode 6 spoilers: What to look for when series returns

Love “Wayward Pines“? We certainly do not blame you, and you are probably having a difficult time at the moment suffering through the show’s waiting game. After all, this is a show that is forcing you to sit around for an extra week thanks to golf to figure out what lies beyond “The Truth,” arguably the biggest episode of the show’s run so far. That is where it was first revealed that these characters weren’t just transferred to Wayward Pines; they are actually more than 2,000 years in the future!

Granted, there are still many reveals left on the show, with one of the biggest ones being learning a thing or two more about Wayward Pines Academy, and what is meant to ultimately come out of this. Speaking on the subject to Zap2It, executive producer M. Night Shyamalan says that episodes nine and ten are going to be huge for this reveal, and also says the following:

“[There’s a] difference between adults in this situation and children in this situation — which one has a handicap and which one has an asset?”

This is a show that is really looking to deliver many answers, and really sooner rather than later. As we have heard now on a few occasions, the intention for this series is to close up most major events in the first season. There will be more potentially to tell in season 2, but that bridge will be more or less crossed when the series comes to it. Stay tuned for more on that subject…
