‘Shark Tank’ revisited: FunBites, Himalayan Dog Chew, BevBoy, the Lip Bar, Nuts ‘N More

The latest -Friday night, we’ve got another “Shark Tank” encore episode coming on the air, and that to us means that it is time for one simple thing: To bust out another revisited article! For the uninitiated, this is where we go and take another look at the products that were featured, and we do our own version of an update segment that you see on TV from time to time.

Speaking of updates, the company Nuts ‘N More will have one featured alongside the four products below. Suffice it to say, their line of peanut butters with added nutrients are making a killing right now.

Himalayan Dog Chew – They walked away from a deal in the tank, but it appears that for the most part, they have expanded their business nicely since appearing on the show with a variety of other products. They clearly made a ton of money even before appearing on the show, so the argument probably still stands that they really did not need the show that much to find success.

The Lip Bar – There was no deal made on the show, but we definitely admire the hustle that was shown off during the presentation. The problem here is that some of the same problems that were there for us during the initial presentation still are. We’re not sure that it is distinctive enough, and the website for the product is still difficult to look at for a long period of time.

BevBoy – A floating drink holder to us is still incredibly silly, but somehow, we still think that this business is doing something incredible right. Their website is slick and easy to use, the price for a unit is under $10, and it feels like they are set up well for a summer show Friday. The only drawback is that we still think it’s pretty lazy for someone to bring their can of soda / whatever else into the pool, and it’s possible they will spill it or get water in it.

FunBites – It was no shock that this business got a deal, and we like the direction that they are going in sense, mostly because they seem to understand that the FunBites demographic is mostly parents desperate to get their kids to eat things that they wouldn’t want to normally. We’re not sure it’s an extremely necessarily product, but for some parents, they are willing to do almost anything they can.
