‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: More on Nick Viall, Kaitlyn Bristowe (possibly) sleeping together

If there is any good thing that could come from Nick Viall and Kaitlyn Bristowe potentially sleeping together after a one-on-one date on “The Bachelorette” Monday night, it’s this: It could actually lead to a real conversation about a subject that show producers have tried to bury in the sand for years. Sex happens on this show. It just does. Often, they try to just pretend that it doesn’t. We cannot say that it is a frequent occurrence before overnight dates, but let’s not pretend that Nick and Kiatlyn doing something here would be the first time in show history.

The promo that aired after Monday night’s episode certainly suggests that something happened, and you may feel that way even more so after reading the synopsis below:

“A picture perfect day strolling through the streets of Dublin turns into a passionate night for the Bachelorette and one of the men, but will Kaitlyn’s actions have serious consequences when it comes to the other men? A six-man group date tests the bachelors’ ability to say “good-bye” to Kaitlyn – at a fake, traditional Irish wake. The rose winner from the group date and Kaitlyn enjoy a private concert by the internationally famous Irish rock band The Cranberries. Simultaneously, one of the men has a major meltdown and reveals an explosive secret only he and Kaitlyn shared, leading to a face-off that could derail the Bachelorette’s search for love.”

The reason we mention the group date here is because it could be possible that Nick comes back and share what happened between him and Kaitlyn with someone else. We know that he’s far from humble at times on this show … but it also seems like it would not be something she would appreciate, and therefore not the best move when it comes to his relationship. Maybe this “explosive secret” is coming from someone else and on a completely different subject?
