‘Suits’ season 5 premiere spoilers: Louis Litt, ‘Denial,’ paranoia, and more
While we’ve had a few assorted details here and there about the June 24 premiere of “Suits” on USA, the network has officially now given us something that we’ve been looking forward to receiving for quite some time: The first written details on the season 5 opener! We’ve known for a while that the title is “Denial,” and that more than likely the episode would pick up dealing where the finale left off in terms of Donna leaving Harvey in favor of Louis Litt, and Mike and Rachel planning their future following their engagement.
These theories are proven true by the synopsis below, which also makes it clear that while there have been some big changes, that doesn’t necessarily mean that anyone is in a better place just yet:
“In the Season Five opener, Harvey has difficulty adjusting to changes around the office, which affects his ability to do his work. Donna must acclimate to working for Louis, who’s certain it’s only a matter of time before she returns to Harvey. Mike and Rachel must decide how and when to share their big news, but their excitement about their future together will take a back seat to Harvey and Mike’s latest case.”
We ultimately don’t blame Louis in the slightest for being a little insecure. He has worked and been around Donna and Harvey enough to know what their relationship is, and he has some of his own pre-fashioned insecurities that comes from being somewhat of an outsider socially at the firm. What he has to watch out for is that his paranoia does not ultimately get the best of him.
As for Mike and Rachel, they simply have to figure out how to make time for each other while handling everything else on their plate.
