‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: Danger, danger, danger everywhere

America's Got Talent -Are we finally going to get to some of the danger acts on “America’s Got Talent” this season? That is something we’ve been personally looking forward to thanks to many recently-released promos, but some of those have proven to be more than a little bit deceptive. Where were some of the danger acts?

Hopefully, we’re going to see some of them coming on Tuesday night’s new episode, since this promo below makes it seem like they are fresh on the way! The one featuring the school bus appears to be especially awesome, and we do like that the show seems to be heading more outside to film some of these this season as they expand more and more what the show can do. Hopefully, they’ve already secured an outdoor space in New York in the event that some acts make it to the live shows.

Would we love to see a danger act win the competition? Definitely, since this is one of the only real venues that they can take what they do to the next level. We’re not taking anything against singing or dancing, but they are very different art forms in that you can just sit in your room, record something, and hopefully find fame on YouTube. It’s hard to do that with an act that requires a budget, an outdoor space, and a willing audience. This show is very important in exposing audiences to new things.

There is a moment in the promo where Howie Mandel proclaims that someone should “call 911,” but that may be taken out of context for the sake of drama. If there was something insane that happened during filming, we probably would have heard about it before now.
