‘Arrow’ season 4, ‘Gotham’ season 2, ‘The Flash’ season 2 teaming up at San Diego Comic-Con

The FlashIf you are going to Comic-Con this year and are desperate to see some great stuff when it comes to DC Comics properties, you really don’t have to look any further than Saturday, July 11. There is going to be a massive superhero night event at the convention, and this include everything from the “Supergirl” pilot screening, a video presentation for DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow,” and some Q&A sessions with some of the stars of “Gotham,” “Arrow,” and “The Flash.” Basically, this is the sort of event that may actually be worth lining up and waiting all day to see.

What is interesting to us about this superhero hodgepodge is that technically, not all of these shows are in the same universe. We already know for a fact that “Gotham” is separate from the others, and while there is some interest on the production side in having “Supergirl” be set in the same universe as Barry Allen and Oliver Queen’s present stories, CBS previously didn’t seem altogether into it. They at least do share some of the same producers.

Comic-Con is going to be a good opportunity to at least get a few more details in regards to what is coming up on these shows, and you may get a few casting or story details along the way. Much of it could depend on how much the shows can keep under wraps until we get to the event.

As of right now, we would say that “Arrow” and “The Flash” are still the kings of the castle. “Supergirl” is a little of an unknown commodity (though we’ve seen the pilot), and “Gotham,” while good, had some issues and some declining ratings in season 1.
