‘Once Upon A Time’ season 3, episode 7 review: Has Peter Pan earned Henry’s trust?

The last episode of “Once Upon A Time” is going to be hard to beat since we had our first introduction to Ariel and she’s beyond amazing, but at least we know that her story isn’t over yet and that we are going to have more of the little mermaid going into tonight’s episode. Is she going to be able to get the magical item from Gold’s shop and when she sees Eric will things be the same between them?

Storybrooke: Belle is able to invoke the cloaking spell, but two of Pan’s agents manage to slip into town right before. Ariel is able to get back to Storybrooke and give Belle the message from Rumple about the item he needs from the shop to help save Henry, stop Pan, and return home to her. After searching Gold’s shop, Belle and Ariel find what he needs… Pandora’s box, but before they can get it to him they are stopped by Pan’s agents. They escape and follow the two men with Pandora’s box and right before they are going to destroy it, Belle and Ariel get the box. They find out that these two men are actually Wendy’s brothers and they are working for Pan as prisoner’s trying to help get their sister’s freedom back.

Neverland: Neal comes up with a plan to try to capture Pan’s shadow so that they can get out of Neverland once they get Henry. Neal learns about Hook and Emma’s kiss, but isn’t put off by it and now both men are vying for Emma’s heart. She tells them both that they might as well stop fighting over her, because the only man she has room in her heart to love right now is Henry. After finding Pan’s shadow and capturing it, Tink agrees to help them get Henry back now that they have a way off the island.

Pan is worried that he’s losing Henry’s belief so he sends Felix to lead Henry to a room that has Wendy in it. She tells him that she is sick and that Pan is trying to help her, but really he has kept her prisoner and in one of the cages for years. When Henry confronts Pan about Wendy, he tells him that because he’s the only one that can save magic on the island and save Wendy’s life, he didn’t want to burden him. Henry asks how he can help and falls right into Pan’s trap. When Ariel returns to Neverland, she gives Gold the box and tells him of Wendy being held prisoner on the island and he says he will try to rescue her.

We know that not everyone is as crazy about the Peter Pan story as we are, but it’s really hard to deny how amazing this actor is. He’s scary, strong and makes you want to believe everything he says… he’s the child version of Ben Linus from “Lost” Episode guide: B-
