ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8: When could the premiere date be?
Bad news, “Castle” fans: For the first time in quite a long time, there is no new episode tonight. ABC is airing the first part of the “Dancing with the Stars” finale, and they are following that up by giving us what will be the premiere of “The Bachelorette.”
So when exactly will season 8 premiere on the network? Even though it is possible that we could be getting a shorter season, that should not really impact the time in which it premieres. We would mark in your calendar both Monday, September 21 and then the 28th. These are the two most likely start dates, since it has been confirmed that it will continue to air on Mondays.
One thing that we wanted to post here that we haven’t before now is the goodbye message that show creator Andrew Marlowe posted last week. It’s been known for a little while that he and Terri Miller were going to be departing the series after season 7, but that doesn’t change the sad pit in our stomach. Sure, Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley will most likely do a good job, but that does not change that these are two people who were really architects of just about everything.
Marlowe and Miller are most likely going to start some work developing other projects for TV, and we could be hearing a little more about their future plans a little later this year. It is much too late in the year for them to be greatly involved in something premiering this fall.
