‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Sophie Turner, Kit Harrington, and ‘The Gift’

What's next for Jon? -We hope that you are very much enjoying “Game of Thrones” season 5 so far; the one thing we are pretty sure that you are not enjoying at this particular moment is the sole fact that we only have four more episodes left to enjoy this season. This means that these are probably going to be stuffed to the brim full of action, drama, and so much more.

The first thing that you should be aware of is that “The Gift” next week will in fact actually air on May 24. Sometimes HBO does tend to take Memorial Day Weekend off in order to substitute some other TV movie for the spot, but they are not doing that all this year. Instead, you can just expect some more exciting events to come, and you can read some of what to expect in the synopsis below:

“Jon prepares for conflict. Sansa tries to talk to Theon. Brienne waits for a sign. Stannis (Stephen Dillane) remains stubborn. Jaime attempts to reconnect with family.”

We hope that at some point in here, we do get to see an alliance of sorts form between Theon and Sansa, given the look in his eyes when he saw what Ramsay was doing to her. We do think that there is someone good in there for him still, but finding a way to extract it is no easy task. You have to remember also that he did do some terrible things as Theon, so he was not exactly well-intended all the time before meeting Ramsay.
