‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16 finale spoilers: How the Baby Noah crisis arrives
There are serious problems arriving on the season finale of “Law & Order: SVU” Wednesday night, and if you have following the show closely, then you are least know some sort of idea at the moment as to what this problems are. Specifically here, we are talking about how Baby Noah is going to start to get into some serious jeopardy over a case that Benson takes involving Johnny D. He is going to enter the courtroom, and things are going to start to become very chaotic after he realizes that she has his biological son.
As executive producer Warren Leight tells Entertainment Weekly in previewing the episode, the entire incident comes about out of Mariska Hargitay’s character doing what she feels is the right and honest thing. That probably makes the overall situation in many ways that much harder than it would be otherwise:
“On those forms, you’re supposed to list the biological parents if you know who they are … Lying hasn’t gone well for Liv. She also wants to start out clean with her son, and doesn’t want the adoption to start out with a lie. Against Barba’s advice, she lists Johnny D as the biological father. Barba begs her not to do it, but she lists him, and the battle is on.”
Hopefully, in the long run this decision will prove to be the right one for her. The thing that you do have to remember here is that if she had not made this decision now to go through with this, it could have come out another way later. Possibly dealing with the pain and consequences now, even as the Johnny D trial is here, is better than some horrible alternative had she lied or waited.

Olivia is a noble and righteous person. She never does anything wrong in my view. I think she is correct in not hide the real father of Noah, he is his son.
And it would be great if Mariska could bring Eliot back. And send away Amanda Rollins.

Benson is the one who brings it Johnny D’s attention that she has his son? Yikes! Sometimes Det. Benson, doing the right thing isn’t doing the right thing, especially after how we’ve seen what Johhny D. does to the women he has a problem with. Is Det. Benson’s doing “the right thing” going to get one of the team killed? It better not get Kelli Giddish(Det. Rollins) killed. If that happened, they could just CANCEL the show right after the season finale. it probably won’t happen, since it’s been pointed out to me that they don’t kill off the major characters, but I figured I’d just throw that out there to let everyone know how I feel on the subject.
