‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 16, episode 22 preview: The investigation in ‘Parents’ Nightmare’

Law & Order: SVU logoWednesday night’s new episode of “Law & Order: SVU” is entitled “Parents’ Nightmare,” and after watching the sneak peeks, it is not going to take a whole lot of effort for you to figure out why. This is a story centered in many ways around a kidnapping, and one that is certainly far more complicated than it seems at first glance. What happens if one of the parents is actually involved in it, or it is in some way due to problems between the two of them? All possibilities have to be considered at the moment.

1. The kidnapping – This is an important preview just for setting up the premise of the episode: A kidnapping that is done in strange fashion, and by a man who seemed to have at least have some sort of preexisting relationship with the child in Owen. There’s nothing particularly in-depth about the scene, but if you have not seen any preview yet for this episode, this is a good place to start. Also, what do you think of what seems to be the mock Yankees hat that he is wearing?

2. The investigation deepens – Here, you learn that this kidnapper was hardly an amateur by any means. He purposefully concealed his face from the cameras, which means that he had to know where the cameras were located. In addition to that, he had to know around when Owen would be there. These are a lot of clues that at least help to make it clear that this was not just some spur-of-the-moment circumstance.
