‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Meet Ben Higgins, seller of software
We love “The Bachelorette” and all of its assorted nonsense. However, we don’t love the fact that the show made us wait for so long to meet the entire cast! Therefore, we’re going to have to into overdrive in order to get some other spotlight articles done! We’re going to have a whole lot of these over the course of the next several days in order to get these all online.
We’re going to start here with Ben Higgins, a man who seems to occasionally go by Benjamin, likes to be outside, and also seems to have gotten the outfit from the same closet as 90% of the other contestants this season. Who knew that v-necks were so popular? (We’re pretty sure that the same guys wear the same ones, and then they just go through the laundry between seasons.)
Name – Ben Higgins
Age – 26
Location – Denver, Colorado
Occupation – Software Salesman. Maybe if he’s not picked, he can at least one of the ladies to upgrade something on their computer. Not the most interesting job, and therefore not the easiest future Bachelor contestant. “The Bachelor: Is Love in the Program?” Doesn’t work.
First Impression – He seems to be outdoorsy, adventurous, and we haven’t seen any photos of him being a drunken fool on social media. for the most part, so far, so good. Also, he claims in his bio that one of his favorite movies is “The Sandlot.” That gets us a little closer to liking him for…ev…er.
Worst Impression – This is why he wants to be Batman, per his bio: “He is a badass and has an awesome man-cave to hang out with his friends in.” That’s not the purpose of the Batcave!!! Maybe he just wants to be a guy with a super-cool man-cave. Is Man-Caveman an option?
Prediction – He seems to have his head on straight about as much as a contestant on “The Bachelorette” can. We’ll give him temporary benefit of the doubt and say he lasts a while.
