‘Survivor: Second Chance’: Why Natalie Tenerelli is worthy of your vote
Were we a little surprised to see Natalie Tenerelli listed as a possible contestant for “Survivor: Second Chance“? We suppose, but there are some good reasons to include her. She’s still very young and fills that demographic, and you always have to wonder what playing with Boston Rob does to help future contestants. Take a look at how much better Tyson Apostol and Coach Wade did after “Heroes vs. Villains,” and while Phillip Sheppard finished worse in “Caramoan,” he probably played a better game.
In the end, Natalie’s one of those toss-up contestants who could go very far again on another season, but she needs to be much improved if she wants a shot at winning. You can vote for Natalie, or any other contestant, here.
Past experience – “Survivor: Redemption Island” (3rd place)
Why you should vote for her – It’s a vote based on potential. She is the only contestant to be publicly endorsed by Rob so far on social media, and one of the reasons why you should want to see her is to see how much she learned. We imagine having to spend the past several years hearing people complaining about her not making any big moves is a good motivation to go out and try something completely different. Maybe it’ll work, or maybe she will overcorrect and play so hard that she is targeted. It is an interesting social experiment.
Why you wouldn’t vote for her – The biggest thing going against Natalie is that either you don’t remember her, or you have your ballot filled already with other interesting personalities. While there are a few snubs, CBS selected a pretty strong field of women, and there are some in there that are more of a sure thing to play hard and stir up drama.
Our prediction – We could go either way on Natalie. We’re fascinated about her potential, but uncertain if she’ll get the votes. Even if she does, there is still a difference between learning and applying what you learn to the game.
