‘Madam Secretary’ finale spoilers: The Elizabeth – Juliet confrontation is here

What has Juliet done? That is one of many questions that is going to be asked on the season finale of “Madam Secretary,” though right along with that you also have to wonder just what Elizabeth is going to do with her.

Obviously, Tea Leoni’s character feels betrayed right now by her old friend. There’s no other way to slice it. This is a character we first met at the start of the season, and while she has not appeared in every episode since, we have at least seen enough to truly gauge more of what her true importance is to her. So with all of this in mind, we learn yet again in the sneak peek below that Elizabeth is not a vindictive person. Instead, he wants to “save” Juliet. Granted, that may involve a number of different tactics, and due to this preview being of such incredibly short length, we really do not have much of an opportunity to know one way or another.

Ultimately, the biggest takeaway here really should just be that this is setting the stage for what should be a really intense finale episode that tells us where Elizabeth’s head is at, whether she is ready for the challenges ahead, and also if she and the rest of the cabinet can handle her daughter dating the President’s son. You know that this will be a field day for the press, and it will change her life just as much as anything else has.

Remember here to watch with at least some degree of confidence, given that “Madam Secretary” has been already renewed for a second season.
