‘The Flash’ spoilers: First look at Grant Gustin in ‘Grodd Lives’

Grodd Lives -When “The Flash” airs on The CW Tuesday night, you are going to have a chance to see Barry Allen continue to struggle to set the perfect trap for Harrison Wells. Unfortunately, we have the feeling that not everything goes according to plan. If it was set to, we have a hard time imagining that the episode that followed would feature something quite like Gorilla Grodd going after some of the good guys.

While we have technically seen Grodd on the show at this point, the show has been relatively coy with how much they have actually shown him. Some of that may be due to budget, since it cannot be too easy to craft a CGI gorilla most of the time, and some other components of it may be tied simply to the fact that for a live-action series, it may be better to keep a telepathic gorilla in the shadows. It can be hard at times to replicate realism with such a character.

Personally, we dig Grodd and have been waiting to see where this story was going to go for some time. We just hope that this will not be the end of him on the show. He’s a villain worthy of standing on his own and not being controlled by Harrison Wells, who is most likely who unleashes him in the first place during the episode. Maybe this is something we’ll see a little bit more of during the second season.

As soon as we have more on this episode, though, we’ll be sure to have it for you right here.
