ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Aftermath’ brings back familiar face

There may only be four episodes left on “Revenge” based on the promo that aired after last night’s “Exposure,” and there is also one thing that we can say now: It looks like some familiar faces are going to be returning to for the home stretch. That includes a man that we somehow almost always manage to forget about before he suddenly shows up again: Robert Bart as Mason Treadwell, the schemer whose story goes back many years on this show.

How could he factor into the endgame for Emily Thorne / Amanda Clarke? We’re going to learn that more as the story progresses. This includes “Aftermath,” the April 26 episode that carries with it the following synopsis:

“As Emily sifts through the wreckage of her life, even her closest friends worry she has finally gone too far.”

Last night, Emily VanCamp’s character did her best to try to get in front of any potential scandal by doing a television interview, one where she outed many of Victoria Grayson’s past actions and painted her as a true villain. The irony here, though, is that in doing this, she may have potentially pushed Margaux, who was briefly reluctant to continue the battle, closer to Victoria once again. When you remember that Louise may also have a role to play in all of this, given that she has so much information now courtesy of Nolan’s trophy case (otherwise known as his computer), there are a few balls still up in the air to be caught before the final four episodes air.

No matter when or how “Revenge” ends, you can probably count on it being a heck of a thrill ride.
