‘The Flash’ finale spoilers: Grant Gustin wrapping up season 1 filming
In a post on Twitter, star Grant Gustin has confirmed that today will be the end of season 1 … at least for the cast working to film the show. After that, they will become closer to wrapping things up and going on vacation. Maybe they have some ADR or a few other loose ends left, but these are people who certainly deserve a break. It takes a lot to make a show like this, from super-long hours to a ton of physical activity to also making sure that you are still lively in promoting your work (we imagine that the conventions are a lot of fun, but they are still work).
We would assume that the finale could be a showdown between Barry Allen and Harrison Wells / Eobard Thawne, at least that’s what we would love to see after all of this build up! This season has been built around whether or not Barry could get justice for his mother, but he may run into many difficulties doing that. One way or another, we just hope that there are a few loose ends still open for next season, whether that means keeping Gorilla Grodd out there or finding a way to keep the Reverse Flash legacy alive. (We’re going to be very bummed if Tom Cavanagh is being written out here.)
Tuesday night, “The Flash” returns with “All-Star Team-Up”! You can read more about that particular installment over here, and sign up here to get some speedy TV updates sent to you every week via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: The CW.)
Tomorrow is my last day of filming on Season 1 of @CW_TheFlash & then we're back on Tuesday w/ 6 consecutive episodes to finish the season!
