‘Poldark’ episode 7 preview: Tension mounts between Ross, Francis

It is almost stunning to think about the progress that we have made on the BBC’s “Poldark,” in particularly when it comes to some of our main characters. Did you think that the likes of Ross and Demelza would be in the place that they are now at the start of the season? Also, what did you think was going to be coming for Francis?

As we enter the final two installments of the season, the biggest thing that we can possibly hope for is the pendulum to keep swinging from one way to another. This includes potentially getting to see more of the tension between characters, and that includes some relationships in surprising places. Take a look at the synopsis below for at least some preliminary news on what to expect:

“Francis wrongly blames Ross for helping Verity elope with Andrew Blamey. Meanwhile, Mark suspects Dwight and Keren of having an affair, starting a chain of events which will have tragic consequences and threaten the safety of everyone at Nampara.”

The promo that aired after the show tonight further exemplified the anger between Francis and Ross, as there is plenty of political blame to be cast down. Will their relationship be completely decimated by the time we make it to the end of this season? This is something that we at least have to consider, given the current state of things and the fact that Ross’ journey is not going to be a particularly easy one until the end of the series.
