‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Is it possible that there is no major death?
Is it possible, though, that this episode may have been over-hyped thanks to some of the tweets, and that nobody could end up actually dying in this episode at all? Amell is not exactly someone known for hyperbole, mostly because he knows that the show is awesome and he doesn’t need to grandstand, but we are starting to think that regardless of that, it could be over hyped.
All of this ultimately makes the new comments from Colton Haynes to TVLine all the more intriguing:
“I don’t think it’s as serious as everyone took it. It was just a very emotional scene … We will be saying goodbye to people, but I think it was just kind of blown out of proportion.”
Typically we rely on these quotes for answers. Unfortunately, hearing this one just confuses us further as to what in the world is really going to happen here. Do we still think that death is possible? Sure, but hype is a dangerous thing. Take, for example, a movie like “Boyhood.” If everyone tells you that it is the greatest thing you’ll ever seen in your entire life, you may be let down when you go to the theater and see that you’re just watching some kid grow up for a few hours. You have to leverage expectations.
What we do know for now is mostly that there are a number of characters who aren’t going to die, judging from the fact that they’ve been mentioned in future episodes. We don’t want to say too much more about this in risk of spoiling something, so just take our word for it.
