‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: An episode title, dialogue scoop, and other odds and ends

Arrow -While there is no breaking “Arrow” news this weekend as we prepare for the next new episode “Public Enemy” to air, we do still have a few other assorted stories to pass along that you may have missed throughout the week. Heck, one of these we’ve missed for several weeks now, and there may be a few others that feel the same way.

1. New episode title – According to executive producer Marc Guggenheim on Twitter (see below) the 22nd episode of the season is entitled “This Is Your Sword.” This hints at two different things: There could be a potential Ra’s al Ghul duel in this episode, and that the tradition of naming penultimate episodes after Bruce Springsteen sons is still very much alive.

2. A dialogue tease – As a reward for reaching a follower milestone last week, the writers on Twitter handed over a tiny but jaw-dropping bit of dialogue for Wednesday’s episode. Take a look at that below! Does it revolve around Oliver, Felicity, and Ray? That’s one possibility. It’s hard to think about who else this could be a reference to.

3. Bronze Tiger is no more – Let’s wrap up with what is our mea culpa moment of the article. For weeks now, we’ve been begging in our Arrow podcast to see more of Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger. The problem? The character’s dead in this universe, and was actually killed off during an Arrow 2.5 comic released earlier this year. Clearly, this is a sign that we need to read the comics and that if you are watching the show and not reading the comics then you are going to miss out on huge changes that will never be addressed on the actual show. However, at the same time we’re not sure that we love people being written out of the show due to events that happened in another medium that not everyone is reading. We prefer the idea of the comics as supplemental entertainment to the show, where you get a few details that show viewers don’t, but at the same time there are no fundamental shifts like killing off a character and then never mentioning it on the show again

We’ll of course continue to be your source of “Arrow” news all season long, but if you want even more spoilers right now, then head over to the link here and let us be your guide.
