‘Shameless’ season 5 finale spoilers: The story for Emmy Rossum and the cast
“Shameless” has definitely brought quite a bit of chaos over the past few weeks. It started with Frank Gallagher fighting over a trailer, and it is ending next week with a story that is all about him trying to figure out if he can actually have a working relationship with Bianca. The past two weeks have shown us that he cares about her, and he wants something real, despite his many flaws that have been in full display since the beginning of the series.
While William H. Macy is going to have a busy story during this episode, he is far from the only one. Emmy Rossum will also have a huge role to play as we start to figure out just what the future holds for her personal life. Take a look at the official synopsis below, recently posted via TV Guide:
“Season 5 ends with Fiona reuniting with Gus after he returns from his tour, but she struggles with the fact that her feelings for Sean have turned into love. In Costa Rica, Frank has love struggles of his own while he works to keep Bianca happy.”
As for the promo below, let’s just say that is serves as a nice resource for all of the storylines, whether it be Lip’s “relationship” (if you really want to call it that), Fiona making life decisions, and Frank pondering his future. Oh, and there is also gunfire. Let’s just hope that we’re not being primed for one of those uber-cliffhangers that makes you do nothing other than scream at your TV / computer / tablet / however you watch this for a few minutes.

I want to see Carl and Chuckie reconcile in juvie! Hopefully in an outrageously Shameless way. I imagine Carl in some perilous situation and Chuckie is some how able to rescue him because in spite of everything he still loves his Uncle Carl. Then Carl realizes that they are better off working together than fighting against each other! Then I want them to convince their older and supposedly somewhat smarter relatives to do the same. They all need to realize that revenge is stupid before they all end up dead or incarcerated. Fiona is probably never going to change unless she gets professional help. People from dysfunctional families tend to make the same mistakes over and over again with different people. I would love to see Liam start getting his own storyline! I am looking forward to when Lip realizes the sexy professor’s husband wants him too, and Lip might not be as “evolved” as they are! Oh! Now that Mickey has grown enough to love Ian and come out of the closet, let’s see him grow enough to feel guilty when he thinks he killed someone!

I want Sheila back to take care of her husband-Frank. Kev and V to stay together. Fiona to become a mother figure again. Debs to realize what she is doing. Sammi to go away. Lip to find a real relationship. Ian to get help.

Nothing had better happen to Mickey.
