‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Michelle Money not taking part, has another ambition
While we seemingly have one confirmed “Bachelor” star on “Bachelor in Paradise” in Ashley Salter (otherwise known as Ashley onion), we now have one confirmed person who will not be turning up in some tropical location this summer trying to find love: Michelle Money. While she did find romance with both Graham Dunn and Cody Sattler on “Bachelor Pad” and then “Bachelor in Paradise,” neither one of these relationships ultimately worked out.
With that in mind, she makes it clear in the video below that she doesn’t have any intention in trying to find love on TV anymore. While she’s built up a solid following thanks to her multiple appearances on the “Bachelor” franchise over the years, the experience hasn’t worked out for her where she has found her soul mate. While finding love on TV has worked for a few people, it’s also failed many others and we suspect that having the experience played on TV or having a camera in your face makes it harder to make an organic connection with someone.
However, she also “puts it out into the universe” in this video that she would like to do some sort of web-based aftershow where she meets fans from around the country and talks to them about a variety of topics related to “The Bachelor,” from the show to the process of finding love and other matters.
She wants to drum up as much attention as possible to see if show creator Mike Fleiss or some of the producers would be interested in funding it … and here were are, helping her drum up attention. We do think this could work and Michelle Money is a big enough personality that people would want to tune in! While we already do a “Bachelor” podcast, we feel like there shouldn’t be a shortage of discussion portals on the internet for the show; plus, Money is one of those people who buys into the process of the show, while at the same time understands the public perception and having a little bit of fun with it. She’s on that list with Sean Lowe, the Mesnicks, and a few others “Bachelor” alumni.
This season of “The Bachelorette” is currently filming, and should premiere in late May if recent traditions hold true. Meanwhile, “Bachelor in Paradise” should return later in the summer; Fleiss is already narrowing down that cast.
