‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ preview: Is the next challenge going to be a blowout?
The moment that we saw the alignment of the tribes on “Survivor: Worlds Apart” last week after the swap, we knew it was going to be trouble. We definitely feel that way even more now that Max Dawson was voted out. He wasn’t a physical beast, but he could at least compete better than Will Sims, who barely seems to be making it through some of these challenges.
Luckily, there is a slight beacon of hope in the reward challenge preview below: Nagarote has a chance against the physically superior Escameca! While the first part of this challenge is a course that the men plus Sierra dominate, the second part of it is a giant slingshot-of-sorts. While it seems like having physical strength would be an asset here, it also takes a certain element of skill. Therefore, if Jenn can figure out how to do this better than Rodney (who acted at the start of the challenge like a puppy that was chasing down a Frisbee with the way that he was moving), her tribe may be able to ultimately still win this.
If Nagarote is able to win immunity, it could be one of the biggest upsets we’ve ever seen in the game. It may also may be an enormous coup for Shirin, given that at the moment she feels like a dead woman walking in this game. If she makes it to the merge, then all of a sudden there may be an alliance out there that could benefit from using her as a number. She and Rodney are probably two of the people in the most danger, though we also wouldn’t be surprised if Joaquin is targeted because of his sudden Rodney “bromance” that has been hinted at in some other promos.
