‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Will there be ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ connections?

Agents of SHIELD -Within the Marvel universe, quite a bit is connected. This is something that we’ve learned time and time again, and we imagine that we are going to learn this all over again at some point before “Agents of SHIELD” season 2 comes to a close. One of the best moments of the first season was seeing how the events of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” eventually changed the entire game of the ABC series, and we wonder if something similar could happen with “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

Of course, there are some very distinct differences here between the timing of this movie and the last one, including that this movie is coming out in May, and that is so late in the season for “SHIELD” that there may not be much time to really implement much of an aftermath. For now, though, all parties are coy. Just take a look at what Clark Gregg told Entertainment Weekly Radio recently:

“The fun thing about Marvel is that if there is a way to make the story connect, they’re all about that … As someone who kind of knows the way these worlds connect, I feel like the stuff is there. There are some secrets going on in some of the episodes that even Coulson is keeping from people closest to him, that I’m hoping might be something that connects with that. But I won’t find out until we read that script next week.”

Ultimately, maybe around the next few weeks Gregg and company will get a sense of what their future truly holds. Time will tell.
