ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 15 preview: Is Kerry Washington’s Olivia back in action?

Are there some big moments coming on “Scandal” Thursday night? Based on the evidence that we’re currently seeing, the answer to this question seems to be yes … and people very close to Olivia are involved.

By “close,” we should mean in terms of proximity a little bit more than close in terms of relation. In the sneak peek over at Yahoo TV, you can see that a woman who lived close to Olivia at the time of her kidnapping was seemingly killed, and Kerry Washington’s character is now out for justice. What complicates this matter a little bit is whether or not she is really in the best place to be doing the investigating. As she approaches Quinn and Huck, it feels pretty clear that neither one of them have seen her out of her place in a while. She is coping still mostly likely with both the kidnapping and also the events of “The Lawn Chair,” which were definitely intense to say the least.

As we’ve said before, what is somewhat interesting about this particular episode more than anything else is simply that we really do not know a whole lot about it going in. There’s not some big cliffhanger that the show is using to hype up this installment. There is really very little built into this other than what happened to Olivia in the past, and then also some of the super-ambitious plans that Mellie currently has for the future.
