‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20: See Chris Soules, Witney Carson’s cheeky portrait

Even though he is no longer “The Bachelor,” Chris Soules cannot seem to shake that rose addiction.

While it has been common knowledge for over a week now that Chris and Witney Carson (different woman, people!) were going to be a team on “Dancing with the Stars” season 20, ABC for some reason continued to stay coy on it for a while … and that also included waiting to release the promotional photo of the two of them. They’ve released it now, and it is just as gloriously corny as you would imagine. First of all, we feel for Chris in that it seems like that rose would be a health hazard having in your mouth while all these photos are being snapped. Also, it seems like a lot of work to not accidentally whack Witney in the face with it, or to have the two of them not fall over. That floor looks slick!

As a whole, though, we have to say that Chris really comes across here better than you’d think. He looks in control, and it’s impressive that he manages to pull off that smile. Granted, you could claim at the same time that he looks a little like a potential villain in a Zorro movie.

You’re going to get a chance to see Chris and Witney (and probably his fiancee Whitney Bischoff in the audience soon enough); the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” begins Monday night on ABC. Jury’s still out on if he has picked up any moves.
