‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ episode 4 preview: Lindsey Cascaddan vs. Rodney Lavoie Jr. in two-hour episode
Somehow, the Blue Collar tribe on “Survivor: Worlds Apart” is starting to feel more and more like the famed Tandang from “Survivor: Philippines.” That tribe managed to avoid tribal council until the merge, but they were so dysfunctional that they fell apart completely after that.
Is there any real alliance in this group? Other than Dan Foley and Mike Holloway, it doesn’t seem like it. Because they keep winning challenges, these two guys are working their way up from the bottom, and keeping themselves well-prepared for the future. This buys them enough time for some other players to cause problems with each other. Based on the preview for next week’s episode, that is happening between Lindsey Cascaddan and Rodney Lavoie Jr. over the course of two hours. This was at one point a pretty secure alliance between Rodney and the women against the other two guys. If these two go nuclear on each other, it could change everything on this tribe.
If nothing else, the Blue Collar group is living up to all of the preseason expectations that Jeff Probst had for this season.
In a way, tonight’s episode was probably one of the weaker ones in terms of outcome, mostly because this was an elimination pretty easy to telegraph. Hopefully, we’re not going to have a whole lot more when it comes to great gameplay, where some serious players can start to emerge a little bit from the rubble. Right now, we’d say that Tyler from the White Collar group is probably playing better than anyone.
