‘The Bachelorette’: Sean Lowe, Andi Dorfman, more react to Kaitlyn Bristowe – Britt Nilsson ‘twist’
Well now, we’ve seen all sorts of criticisms for this idea. Some are saying that it is sexism, while others are saying that it is lose-lose. These women have already been rejected once before, and having one of them come back and be rejected again is going to stink. Also, are they going to know who voted for them to be the star of the show and who didn’t? This sounds very sketchy.
The real truth about why this is being done? Ratings. The show has hit a slump the last two years, and ABC needs to do something to shake up the format. When we first heard about a twist, though, we assumed that it was going to be something completely new, and not something recycled form back when most fans of the show now were even watching. This is just … lame. It’s almost not lasting the whole season.
Anyhow, read the reactions from the likes of former Bachelorette stars Andi Dorfman and Ali Fedotowsky, along with super-popular former Bachelor Sean Lowe and his wife Catherine. If they are speaking out against this, you probably know it’s a terrible idea.

Judging by the hundreds of tweets I'm seeing, no one likes this duel bachelorette idea. Also, @clmgiudici thinks it's disgusting.

I'm gonna keep my mouth shut right now ;) #TheBachelorettes

Excuse me while I shake my head all night.

The more I think about it, I can't help but be upset about ABC choosing 2 #Bachelorettes. It's going to be so hurtful to both the girls.
