‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 trailer: Peter Dinklage’s Tyrion gets a surprise

HBO has now released the latest trailer for “Game of Thrones” season 5, and it is fair to say that this one should be getting you very excited. Let’s just say that this trailer already pays off one thing that you’ve been expecting for some time: Tyrion seeing one of Dany’s dragons for the first time!

While we suppose that this is still not complete confirmation that Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke will be spending some time sharing scenes in season 5, why else would you include this in a trailer? It’s clear that this is what we’re supposed to get out of this. Dany is going to be struggling with quite a bit still in Meereen, including how to be a leader more so than just a conqueror. Also, there’s only so long that she can keep herself from becoming a target of most other forces.

Speaking of which, Stannis Baratheon is on the offensive in the North, and this is something that you should keep watch for in the new season. Also, prepare for a surprising move or two in King’s Landing. It may seem on the surface like this is a very different place now with Tywin and Joffrey both gone, but chaos always has a way of surfacing in this place.

You can watch the new trailer over on Facebook now. It’s a little gory, but beyond that this is basically the same sort of trailer you would expect from the series at this point.
