ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: New photo, details on Lena Dunham appearance

Thursday night, “Scandal” aired what was a very atypical episode in “The Lawn Chair.” With that being said, we’d also say that it may just be one of the best episodes that the show has put on the air to date. It was gripping, intense, and also incredibly different from anything else the series has put on the air to date.

With that in mind, expectations are probably going to be high the rest of the way. This includes the upcoming episode airing on March 19, which features the much-hyped appearance of “Girls” star and “Scandal” fanatic Lena Dunham. To this point, there has not been a whole lot known about this character; however, that is now changing. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she is a dangerous woman who is threatening to release sex secrets of several of the most powerful people in Washington.

While we’ve seen the show tackle some similar parts before, there will be at least a little bit of curiosity here in terms of watching how Lena, who is better known for comedy work, fares in this environment. This attached picture here also comes courtesy of the publication. We anticipate her role being a nice showcase for her, but we hope it goes beyond that and actually furthers some of the larger story. At the moment, the biggest open threads including B613, Fitz’s plans for the Vice President position, and also Mellie subtly working it so that she can be a force to be reckoned with in a future Presidential election.
