‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 spoilers: Shelley Hennig on Stiles, Malia

At this point last year, you were in the process of enjoying new episodes of “Teen Wolf.” However, due to the show having a shorter fourth season to give the cast and writers some much-needed rest, we’re left waiting until the summer this time around.

When the series does return, you better expect that there will be some drama, and that includes for at least a few relationships. For example, after a pretty easy season 4, Stiles and Malia are about to face trial after trial in their relationship. Whether or not they emerge from the other side still together remains to be seen. For now, though, we are rather pleased to present to you the following quote from Shelley Hennig (who plays the Malia character) to TVLine:

“They ended really well in Season 4, but they’re going to be seniors this year, and there are a lot of things that happen when you’re a senior in high school. There are big decisions you have to make, including the whole “high school sweethearts thing,” even though I wouldn’t use the word “sweetheart” for Malia; it just doesn’t feel appropriate. But I’m sure there are going to be some real-life changes and decisions that need to be made in order to move onto the next phase of their lives. I’m looking forward to exploring the reality of these teenagers so people can really relate to them. This is Teen Wolf, and there’s never smooth sailing, so I’m going to make a pretty good assumption that something will test Stiles and Malia’s relationship.”

“Teen Wolf” is going to be a pretty crazy journey we presume this time, especially given that so much is still a mystery … especially whoever is sitting inside that cell in the closing minutes of season 4.
