‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 12 preview: How will the Alexandria Safe Zone change the game?

Where are we going to see “The Walking Dead” go moving forward? Well, what we are most excited about next week is a location more so than an individual character: The Alexandria Safe Zone. This show got here much quicker than we thought they would, given we only recently met the Aaron character, and the show been rather willing to take their time getting to various places in the past.

What will be interesting about this episode is trying to answer the following question: Is this place really everything that it seems, or is there something deeper underneath the surface here? We understand why Rick is so hesitant, given that he has no real reason to trust anything or anyone at this point. Why would he take for a fact anything that Aaron says?

The good thing about the Safe Zone is that on the surface, this place really does feel more like a home. You have a real form of protection, children playing, and homes that seem to be in pretty good shape.

Now, we’re going to sit and wait for the other shoe to drop. If this place ends up really being so wonderful, what would be the point of having the rest of the show? There’d be no other drama and no more stakes. Therefore, something terrible is coming here eventually, and we just have to figure out when it is happening, and who it could be happening to. Hopefully, we’ll have some further news on that in the weeks ahead. Stay tuned.
