‘The Bachelorette’ rankings: Where Becca Tilley, Britt Nilsson, Carly Waddell now stand

Becca -Last week, we busted out our first version of our inaugural “Bachelorette” rankings, and the public responded! We had more than 2,000 votes cast for who should be the next star of the show, with Carly Waddell taking a pretty big lead.

One thing that you do have to remember is that at this point, it is a fluid process, which is why we are presenting another edition of it this week. We feel like producers tend to make their pick after the “Women Tell All” is taped, and the final three episode airs … which is about right now. Their preference is obviously the most important factor, but we’re also looking at fan popularity, show edit, and whether or not this person has a story that would be compatible with what the ABC franchise is trying to do. Let it be known that we’re considering all of the final six as candidates.

7. Someone else – We gave Sarah Herron a shot last week, but that was because we root for her. It does not actually look like producers are considering any outside contenders beyond this season.

6. Whitney Bischoff – She is so far and away the favorite for this season. If she is a surprise boot, we don’t think she’d be ready to find love again in enough time since her connection with Chris Soules is so strong.

5. Jade Roper – Maybe she is a contender to some, and she did get a better edit than we thought she would preseason when we first heard about the photos. We just don’t see the show’s conservative demographic embracing her.

4. Carly Waddell – We wanted to rank her #1 again just from the standpoint of our favoritism, but the reality is that she didn’t get the best edit in her last episode, and we don’t get the sense she is on producers’ wishlist for now.

3. Becca Tilley – A decent contender and a very safe pick. She’s not going to bring much entertainment, though, so you’d have to cast men with huge personalities.

2. Kaitlyn Bristowe – A very popular choice now. Chris Harrison loves her and many fans love her. Is she open enough with her feelings? That’s the one thing holding her back.

1. Britt Nilsson – We feel like Britt is going to be it right now, just in trying to look into the crystal ball and also looking at the evidence. She’s gotten the screen time, and while she was not always loved by other people in the house, she has many attributes of what ABC is looking for?
