‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20: Chris Soules, Roseanne Barr, Malcolm Butler rumored

DWTS -The cast of “Dancing with the Stars” season 20 is set to be announced on “Good Morning America” Tuesday, and it seems like we are starting to get a sense of who some of the people could be. Mind you, these are rumors, and these have turned out to be very false before.

Let’s start with the obvious: Per E! News, current “Bachelor” Chris Soules is in talks to be in the ballroom this season, and if he’s interested, this is probably a no-brainer. He is fairly popular among fans, we’ve already seen his questionable dance moves, and this is a nice source of cash for him. The concern we always have is that it is a lot to ask your new fiancee to have to deal with long rehearsal schedules almost immediately after having to deal with your relationship being a secret. Past “Bachelor” / “Bachelorette” stars to appear on the show include Jake Pavelka, Sean Lowe, and Trista Sutter. Apparently, Juan Pablo Galavis was at one point set to be a contestant, but producers changed their mind after the public showed little interest in seeing him. (We’re actually surprised that Andi Dorfman is not listed as a rumored name.)

Also, comedienne Roseanne Barr, Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have also been rumored for a spot. Butler’s somewhat lucky given that it was one play that singlehandedly has given him this opportunity. We’re not shocked that a New England Patriots player is being courted, and he is at least one who seems to be in good enough health to do it.

Given that the show had somewhat of a ratings Renaissance during season 19, who knows? Maybe they attract some bigger names this time?

For now, let us know who you want to see on the show below, and head over here for a list of the pros taking part. Also, dance over here to get some further scoop on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: ABC.)
