‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ CarterMatt Podcast: On the finale, Leeza Gibbons’ win with Jessa
We have had a very fun journey on “The Celebrity Apprentice” this year, so much fun that we have a hard time really saying goodbye and then seeing it take the long, hard walk into the sunset. We’ve got a full season in the books, and that included a big win for Leeza Gibbons at the very end of it. She is a woman who had nary a fault almost the entire season, which is why her win was so convincing in the final task. Also, Geraldo Rivera’s entire presentation was really quite terrible running around Universal Orlando with children in tow.
While we discuss the task itself aplenty in our final CarterMatt Podcast of this season, we also spend a good bit of time discussing the finale, Donald Trump’s inability to pronounce words properly, Ivanka Trump’s “Star Trek” tribute outfit, and where Leeza stands in comparison to some other winners the past.
Given that the show has been officially renewed for another season, we also discuss briefly the format, and whether we think this two-episodes a week format really works. Would it have been better to get two-hour episodes every week? That is a great discussion point, and it is going to be interesting to see just when Donald Trump and NBC want to move forward with this. After all, nobody predicted that this series was going to be the enormous hit that it was.
This is a busy podcast week at CarterMatt, and we want you to be a part of it as much as possible. Therefore, head over here if you want to subscribe via our iTunes feed!
