‘King of the Nerds’ season 3, episode 4 CarterMatt Podcast: On Moby, Heather’s heroics, more with Jessa
Friday night, “King of the Nerds” aired an episode that was fun, even if it was somewhat predictable. We compliment the Secret Six massively on their gameplay, but at the same time watching the expected people go home every week doesn’t make great TV. Just a reminder: This is a game and while people are there for the great experience and friendships, they are also there to win the crown and the money.
During this episode, we had a great challenge in Nerd Anthems! We also had controversy, which came in the form of watching Moby attack Ori for something that really seemed to be in the end really not that big of a deal. What made him so grumpy? We salute Heather for sticking up for him, which was especially nice given that he is not an ally, and she had no real gameplay reason to do so.
Also, we (being Matt Carter and Jessa) go through the individual performances, and then also the strategy that accompanied them. Is Jonathan really in the best position in the house right now, or is this deceptive given where he probably stands within the Secret Six at the moment? Also, is there a hope for Kaitlin and Colby (two of our favorites this season) to actually last longer than the next couple of episodes? We preview the next episode at the end of this discussion, where it is suggested that Jonathan may break up the Secret Six.
