‘Downton Abbey’ season 5, episode 7 preview (PBS): Michelle Dockery – Lily James teasers!

We are starting to near the end of “Downton Abbey” season 5 in America, at least in that there are three more episodes still to come. Sunday night’s is not going to attempt to blow the doors off of the famous estate of Robert and Cora, but there are still many important, emotional stories to keep an eye out for. This includes at least one or two people finally starting to see some long-simmering stories die down.

As with every other week, we’ve got five teasers for you for this episode below! Let it be known that there are no enormous spoilers in here, but if you are somewhat wary of finding out anything in advance, we advise you to steer clear.

1. Everything for Lady Edith will come to a head now following her departure to London. At least one other character will find out her secret, and her story will revolve around whether or not she can be convinced to return.

2. We are going to get a chance to learn a thing or two more about Tom Branson’s decision-making process as he tries to figure out more of what lies ahead for his future.

3. Yes, there will be another love life update for Lady Mary … and maybe even closure for the time being. This may either excite or frustrate you depending on who you are.

4. There is a major step forward in Rose’s personal life, so expect quite a few opinions when it comes to this subject. No one in this show is ever short on them.

5. Things between Anna and Bates are slightly more muted this week, but expect at least one key scene regarding the two of them and one other downstairs character.
