‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 16 video: Will Jesus transfer to a new school?
When is the right time to start looking towards the future? For Jesus on “The Fosters,” that time may be now based on the latest sneak peek released by ABC Family for Monday night’s upcoming episode.
In this preview, you can see the character recruited to join a different school on a full scholarship, and one that will help him further along some of his college, career, and athletic goals. What’s the problem? He still has reservations. He is a very social guy and loves the ladies, and with that, the idea of attending an all-boys school is not that enticing to him. Therefore, the counter here is that he’ll still have time to socialize with women after classes.
Also, he is told here that one of the other benefits is that this is not a traditional learning platform compared to other schools out there. They focus more on activity, and getting people out of a room in order to teach them a little bit more about the world. This is practical knowledge that they can use better as they try to enter college and the workforce.
While we’re not entirely sure that Jesus will accept, the guy has to consider this. It would also give “The Fosters” a chance to shake things up a little bit, and focus on a story for the character that was not so focused on romance for a change. Every now and then, we do think that this is a valuable thing for the show to do. So often on these shows for teenagers and young adults, everything seems to be all about love interests. This show has already bucked that trend with other characters.
