‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 15 preview: Holmes, Watson navigate a difficult world
We’ve learned time and time again on “Elementary” that this is a show that likes to tackle complicated mysteries, but what makes next week’s installment “When Your Number’s Up” all the more interesting is that it will be taking on a complicated issue to go along with: Wrongful death lawsuits. Holmes and Watson have a murderer to take down in this case who almost seems suited for an episode of “Criminal Minds,” at least in that it seems as though they have some sort of guilt for what they’ve done after the fact.
Also, it feels like Holmes and Watson themselves may be suffering in their own way, which explains why Jonny Lee Miller’s character is going to be making at least one surprising move to help her. If you want to get a few more details in terms of what to expect, just take a look at the synopsis below:
“Holmes and Watson follow a blood trail into the world of wrongful death compensation when they investigate a series of murders in which the killer leaves envelopes of cash on the victims. Also, Holmes makes a generous gesture towards Watson as she suffers through the aftermath of a personal crisis.”
This episode is certainly intriguing enough, but to be fair, we are still getting used to the new / old dynamic of Sherlock and Joan working together again. This show has done a nice job of keeping us on our toes that way.
