‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 14 preview: How Lucy Liu’s Joan moves on after Andrew shocker

ElementaryIsn’t “Elementary” getting a little bit intense right now? Last week, the show made a bold move in getting rid of Kitty right around the time that she was really starting to become beloved by many fans, and they made another bold move tonight when it comes to Joan: Seemingly killing Andrew.

While we would not presume that he is for certain dead, the new promo below certainly makes us want to believe this. The thing that we keep telling ourselves at the moment is that promos do have a habit of being at least slightly misleading. Sometimes, not everything is as it seems, and we can hope that is the case. Regardless, Joan is clearly more determined that she has been almost all season, and seemingly, she may also want to go back to the brownstone, as well! We imagined that the show would revert back to prior seasons at some point, but not necessarily in this way.

In case you missed it previously, this episode is entitled “The Female of the Species,” and the synopsis is below:

“An unexpected event brings Watson into contact again with Elana March, the crime boss she brought to justice. Also, with Watson distracted, Holmes enlists Detective Bell to join him in a temporary partnership to solve a theft at a local zoo.”

Given that Lucy Liu directed this installment, you can also count on this story potentially having a special touch of its own, as well. The past few have already stood out somewhat from all of the others, so being unique probably was not a concern the writers really had in the first place.
