Grammys 2015: Kanye West performs ‘Only One’ with Sir Paul McCartney

Grammy -We definitely never saw this performance coming: Kanye West singing with Sir Paul McCartney at the Grammys. It’s completely shocking, but this is one of the reasons that you watch this show! You want to be surprised, and this definitely brought this to the table and then some. Also, it was surprising to see Kanye take center stage for the entire performance.

The biggest obvious criticism that we can give for this performance is that when you have a former Beatle, you would think that you would want to use him more. Maybe this was more of Sir Paul’s preference, since this song was more about Kanye than it was about him.

Still, we know what Kanye was trying to present during this performance. The sound was reminiscent of his old “808s and Heartbreak” album, which was almost all of this sort of style where he did very little rapping. Also surprising? That this was his first performance on the show in six years; given the success that he has had since that time, you think that you would want to have him involved as much as you possibly could. Well, that’s at least our take on it.

Kanye is going to most likely going to continue to draw headlines most of the week … but his marriage to Kim Kardashian is one of the reasons for that.

We are going to have even more news when it comes to the Grammys throughout the night, so be sure to stay tuned for more of that.
