ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: More struggles for Kerry Washington, cast

“Scandal” season 4 currently has us on a massive cliffhanger, which revolves very much around whether or not Olivia Pope is going to be able to escape her present, very-unfortunate situation at the center of a kidnapping. Ultimately, this is pretty much the last place known to man that she wants to be.

We know that there are at least two episodes that will feature Kerry Washington’s character being trapped, but who knows? Maybe it will continue beyond that. “Full Circle” is the title for the 12th episode this season airing in Mid-February, and the major focus for this installment is going to be seeing if Olivia can figure out how to not be behind the curve. The short synopsis below (via SpoilerTV) may not be the most substantial in the world, but there is at least a little bit of insight in here:

“Olivia struggles to stay one step ahead; Huck, Jake and Quinn ask an old friend for assistance.”

Now, we have to wonder this: Who is the “old friend” that we are going to be seeing in here? At some point, we do know that a familiar face from all the way back in the first season is going to resurface, but there is no word just yet on who this particular person will be. We have a few thoughts, but the biggest one is that we’d be really happy with a return for Henry Ian Cusick, however likely or unlikely that is.
