‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: See Jade Roper, Chris Soules on ‘Cinderella’ date

If there is one date on “The Bachelor” that you probably wanted to get so far, it is the “Cinderella” one coming up on Monday night’s new episode. There are many reasons why. First and foremost, this date has been selected by none other than Chris Soules’ own sisters after figuring out who is right for it. Also, the date includes everything lavish and super-romantic that you would expect. We have seen the silly dates and also the traditional ones, but this is the only one that you can actually give that obnoxious “fairy tale” label and have it make a little bit of sense.

ABC basically revealed through a series of tweets and press releases that Jade Roper is the recipient of this date, and now you have photographic proof of it! On the surface, this could be one of the coolest dates the show has done, even with all of the obvious product placement for the upcoming Disney movie. It’s still probably one of the better bits of cross-promotion the series has done.

If there is one thing that could end up eventually derailing what is in so many ways a love-fest, it is this: Jade is still holding something back, and it is in the form of something from her past that she has not shared with anyone just yet. This was set up by Chris Harrison even before the season, and what she has to figure out is when is the right time to tell him. Obviously, this super-romantic date may not be the place, but the longer that she stays, the stranger it will be to keep that a secret.

For now, we’ll just have to see if she gets a rose at the end of this ball.
