‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: First photo for key Jimmy Palmer episode

Have you been looking for more of a window into Jimmy Palmer’s soul? It does seem like a while since we’ve had a big story for Brian Dietzen, and the upcoming February 3 episode of “NCIS” entitled “We Build, We Fight” should mark a big opportunity for us to find out what Jimmy is up to.

Specifically, his role in this story is going to revolve around preparing for fatherhood. His wife’s due date is going to be approaching, and his fellow NCIS employees are going to do the one thing that many do in this situation: Throw a baby shower! There will be some opportunities for fun, light moments surrounded by what will be a more serious story elsewhere.

If you did not hear, this episode is the one directed by cast member Rocky Carroll, which probably means that Leon Vance is not going to be the center of this story. Doesn’t the man have enough on his plate already? We definitely feel like he does for this hour. Plus, typically actors do not direct ones where they are a featured player the majority of the time.

The only difficult thing about this story is waiting to the point when it comes on the air. As for the one bit of silver lining we can offer, there will a consecutive run of “NCIS” episodes that air after this one. Therefore, you’re not going to be waiting until the end of time to check out some more great stories!
